Aruba application form
Important information:
You can apply for a visa through a prior appointment made by the onlineBooking system (recommended) or by telephone. You have to make individual appointments for each person to apply for Aruba and Netherlands Antilles.
Applicants without prior appointment will not be received.
Please make sure you apply for a visa well in advance, as the Embassy does not issue visa at short notice.
The consular fee totals to 6650 tenge (*equivalent to 35 Euro as per Euro rate on the day of payment) to be paid in cash in tenge in the exact amount at the time of application.
In case your visa is refused the consular fee will not be refunded.

Important! Invitation letters and other visa support documents have to be sent directly to the applicant and not to the Embassy. Please note that at the time of application you must have the original or the copy (depending on the type of visa) of the invitation letter/hotel reservation.

Step 2
Please report to the Embassy Office IN PERSON on the appointed date and time and submit the following documents:
• a passport or an official travel document accepted by the Netherlands Antilles and/or Aruba with a blank visa page and valid for a minimum of three months longer than the validity of the visa;
• copy of the page of your passport with personal particulars;
• one application form for Aruba or Netherlands Antilles, filled in (in print) and signed by the applicant. If the application includes a child (for Aruba a child under the age of 12 years is free of obligation for a visa) that is mentioned in the passport, a separate application form with two photographs of that child should be handed in too; application form for Aruba (click here). • two recent passport-size color photographs (one glued to the application form, another attached by a paper-clip).
• copies of the previous Netherlands Antilles or Aruba visas (if available);
• proof of sufficient financial means;
• ticket reservation with fixed flight dates. When a ticket is presented, please provide also a copy of it;
• for business visa: letter of invitation from a company in the Netherlands Antilles or Aruba (for attending a conference: the registration of the conference or congress);
• proof of employment, which is for employees: a recent employer’s statement; for private businessmen: a copy of the registration certificate of your company;
• for students: registration from a school or university and if traveling during study period, certificate from school or university with permission of absence;
• for minors: legalized authorization of the parents (original + copy);
• for visas to Aruba for other purposes than tourist (business, conference, sports, medical reasons, family visit, study or religious reasons), a previously obtained guarantee certificate from DIMAS (through the responsible party on Aruba) must be submitted;
• for CIS citizens: if you plan to return to Kazakhstan after your travel, you are also requested to present registration with local authorities or another documentary basis of your further stay in Kazakhstan + copy;
• for foreign citizens: if you plan to return to Kazakhstan after your travel, you are requested to show a Kazakh visa valid at least 2 weeks after your return to Kazakhstan + copy.
Please be informed that incomplete application files will not be processed while it does not contain all required documents. After acceptation of an incomplete application a maximum of three weeks will be allowed to deliver the missing documents. Otherwise the applicant will receive an official refusal.
Please note, that the Embassy has the right to ask for additional documents if this is considered necessary and inquiries can be made.
The visa is one of the conditions to get free access to the Netherlands Antilles or Aruba. When crossing the border you may be asked to supply the controlling officer with original documents that provide proof of your financial means, of insurance against costs for medical treatment or repatriation, of the purpose of your travel, length of stay, etc.
Step 3
If you are not phoned within 3 working days by a Consular Officer of the Embassy you may conclude that your visa application has been approved and your visa will be ready for collection a week after submission of your papers. Therefore it is important and your responsibility to make sure your contact details mentioned on your application form are correct. In some cases more time, up to two weeks or even longer is required.
There is only one type of visa for the Netherlands Antilles, a visitor’s visa, with a maximum stay of 30 days (single or multiple entry). If a longer staty is required, the applicant should address the local police on the island immediately after arrival.
The Netherlands Antilles include: Curacao, Bonaire, Saba, St. Eustatius and St. Maarten.
You can pick up your passport with visa on:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 14.00 to 15:00.
